PSA Secures MEP Framework for Lancashire County Council

Lancashire-based building services consultancy PSA has secured a place on Lancashire County Council’s Mechanical and Electrical Design Consultancy Framework, strengthening a professional relationship that has spanned more than 20 years. The appointment will see the consultancy support the delivery of mechanical and electrical engineering projects across the council’s estate over the next four years.

The framework has been established to appoint up to six specialist M&E consultancies to deliver a range of projects, including boiler and air source heat pump replacements, electrical rewiring, fire alarm upgrades and emergency lighting works across schools and public buildings throughout Lancashire.

For PSA, the framework win represents another significant milestone in the company’s continued growth within the public sector and wider built environment. Founded in 1989, the consultancy has built a strong reputation across the North West for delivering mechanical and electrical design, sustainability consultancy, project management, compliance services and energy-focused engineering solutions.

The appointment also reinforces PSA’s standing as a trusted delivery partner for public sector organisations, particularly in education, healthcare and local government. The consultancy has expanded its presence on several regional procurement frameworks in recent years, reflecting growing demand for technically capable consultants able to support decarbonisation, infrastructure upgrades and estate modernisation projects.

PSA’s approach combines in-house engineering expertise with a strong emphasis on sustainability and long-term client relationships. The business is known for delivering practical, energy-efficient building services solutions while maintaining close collaboration with clients throughout the design and construction process.

The Lancashire County Council framework appointment is expected to provide PSA with further opportunities to contribute to the delivery of critical public infrastructure projects across the region while continuing to strengthen its position as one of the North West’s established M&E consultancies.
