Whitecroft Lighting has announced the appointment of Tony Male as its new Head of Critical Infrastructure, strengthening its commitment to delivering high-performance lighting solutions for mission-critical environments.
Tony brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role and has already been instrumental in expanding Whitecroft’s footprint within high-security and complex sectors. His appointment follows the successful delivery of key projects such as the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station, where Whitecroft became the first supplier to have LED lighting approved for use in the UK nuclear industry. This milestone saw the company provide around 40,000 LED luminaires, delivering significant energy savings and long-term sustainability benefits.
In his new role, Tony will be responsible for driving growth in critical infrastructure markets, including nuclear, defence, and transport. His focus will be on developing tailored lighting strategies that meet the stringent performance, compliance, and durability requirements of these sectors.
