Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has introduced the Aquarea T-CAP M Series air-to-water heat pumps to the UK market, setting new standards in efficiency, sustainability, and performance. This latest series is designed to cater to a wide range of applications, from residential homes to light commercial establishments, offering capacities from 9kW up to 30kW. Notably, all models are now listed on the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and Energy Networks Association (ENA) databases, ensuring compliance with UK standards and eligibility for various incentives.
A standout feature of the Aquarea T-CAP M Series is its use of the natural refrigerant R290. With a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 3, R290 significantly reduces environmental impact compared to traditional refrigerants. This aligns with Panasonic’s commitment to promoting sustainable and eco-friendly heating solutions.
Engineered for versatility, the Aquarea T-CAP M Series is suitable for both new installations and retrofitting projects. Its ability to achieve water outlet temperatures of up to 75°C at outdoor temperatures as low as -15°C makes it compatible with existing radiator systems, providing an efficient alternative to conventional fossil fuel-based heating methods. The system maintains nominal capacity without the need for an electric heater, even in extreme conditions down to -20°C, and can operate in temperatures as low as -28°C.
The series offers flexible installation options, including standalone remote controllers, control modules, hydro boxes, and All-in-One units. The hydraulic connection between outdoor and indoor units simplifies installation, eliminating the need for F-gas certification and allowing for greater adaptability in various property types.
In terms of design, the outdoor units feature an anthracite grey finish that blends seamlessly with diverse architectural styles, while the indoor units boast a sleek monochrome appearance. Despite their robust performance, the units operate quietly, with sound power levels as low as 53dB(A) for the 12kW model, ensuring minimal disruption in residential settings.
Connectivity is another highlight of the Aquarea T-CAP M Series. Equipped with Wi-Fi as standard, users can access the Aquarea Smart Cloud and Aquarea Service Cloud platforms for remote management and monitoring. This feature offers homeowners and service providers enhanced control over system performance and maintenance, contributing to prolonged system lifespan and efficiency.
Panasonic’s Aquarea T-CAP M Series represents a significant advancement in heat pump technology, delivering high performance, environmental sustainability, and user-friendly features tailored to the needs of the UK market.
