Haier Air Conditioning & Heating Partner with ICG Heat Pumps

Haier Air Conditioning & Heating – UK & IRE has officially partnered with ICG Heat Pumps, marking a significant development in the UK’s HVAC landscape. The announcement, made via LinkedIn by Stacey Evans of ICG, highlights the companies’ shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and high-performance heating solutions for the residential sector.

Haier, a global leader in domestic appliances and white goods with a staggering £500 million turnover in Europe, continues to expand its presence in the UK HVAC market. The new partnership appoints ICG Heat Pumps as a specialist partner, providing access to Haier’s cutting-edge Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) technology. Among the standout products is the M7 & M8 range of heat pump water heaters, offering sizes from 80L to 250L, a high 65°C heat capability, and a 30% increased water capacity due to advanced mixing performance.

Stacey Evans highlighted the system’s key benefits, including an A+ ErP energy rating, a full DC inverter for quieter and more efficient operation, 140 Pa static pressure at 83l/s, mobile control via the hOn app, and a robust 6-year warranty. These features reflect Haier’s growing role in offering reliable, eco-conscious solutions to residential and retirement living schemes.

Central to this innovation is Haier’s use of R290 refrigerant—a natural, non-toxic, and energy-efficient gas with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 3. This positions Haier as a leader in sustainable HVAC solutions, reducing both carbon footprints and energy consumption.

ICG, known for its technical expertise and focus on low-carbon technologies, is perfectly placed to introduce Haier’s systems to the UK market. The collaboration blends Haier’s engineering excellence with ICG’s strong industry relationships and technical support, creating a powerful force for decarbonising UK homes.

This partnership sets a new benchmark for greener, smarter heating solutions in the UK.
