Haier & Wolseley Group Announce Flagship Partnership for UK Renewables Expansion

In a significant move for the UK’s heating and renewables sector, Haier Air Conditioning & Heating UK & Ireland and the Wolseley Group have announced a new strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the rollout of low-carbon technologies across the country.

Under the partnership, Haier’s full portfolio of heat pumps, smart controls, and battery storage systems will now be available through Wolseley’s nationwide Plumb Centre network, strengthening the accessibility of renewable solutions for trade professionals and installers across the UK.

John Hancock, COO at Wolseley Group, described the collaboration as a cornerstone of Wolseley’s long-term renewables strategy:

“This partnership with Haier HVAC Solutions reflects our continued investment in building a strong, future-ready renewables proposition for the trade. With Haier’s innovation and global credibility, and our national Plumb Centre reach and Renewables Centre expertise, we’re giving installers a full-service solution to help them succeed in the fast-changing renewables market.”

Haier — a global leader in smart energy, HVAC, and connected home technologies — brings world-class engineering and digital integration to the partnership. Its heat pumps and energy storage systems are recognised for their efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with modern smart home ecosystems.

Dimos Vasilakis, Head of Sales UK & Ireland at Haier, added:

“This partnership with Wolseley, a trusted leader in HVAC distribution, marks an important milestone for Haier HVAC UK. Together, we’re bringing innovative, energy-efficient systems to a wider customer base and delivering the sustainability and performance that the UK market is demanding.”

For Wolseley — one of the UK’s leading suppliers of heating, plumbing, and building materials — the collaboration deepens its commitment to supporting the UK’s net-zero transition. Through its Renewables Centres of Excellence, Wolseley will provide training, technical support, and hands-on guidance to help installers expand their renewables capabilities.

This partnership represents a major step forward for both companies and the wider industry — combining Haier’s global innovation with Wolseley’s trusted national infrastructure to help the UK’s heating sector move decisively toward a more sustainable, low-carbon future.
