Briggs & Forrester Living has been awarded the full MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health) contract for the prestigious Whitehall Riverside project in Leeds. The contract, valued as part of the £140 million Build to Rent development, marks a second collaboration with principal contractor Bowmer & Kirkland, following successful pre-construction efforts and technical development of the scheme.
The project includes two 18-storey blocks, featuring 500 high-spec apartments, a gym, studio space, integral car parking, a residents’ lounge, a reception area, and 4,500 square feet of commercial space. Designed by Sheppard Robson, the development aims to achieve BREEAM Excellent and HQM Level 4 certifications, aligning with ambitious sustainability targets.
Briggs & Forrester’s work on this project is enhanced by their long-standing partnership with Crookes Walker Consulting, who provides the MEP design.
